UPaD’s probably most popular and fun event is the traditional trip to SkiWeek, and FINALLY registration is open for the 2025 trip! SkiWeek is organized every year by Skistar and occurs during v. 3-5 in Åre, respectively v. 3-4 in Vemdalen. We are currently signed up for SkiWeek in Vemdalen during Week 4, January 19-23 (likely departing from Uppsala on Saturday evening, January 18th). We are also on the waiting list for SkiWeek in Åre, so if spots open up there, we will go to Åre instead.

In order for us as a student association to be able to register for SkiWeek, we need to know exactly how many toads that are keen to come along as we register jointly for booking, transport, accommodation etc. The total cost of the trip cannot yet be determined, but usually ends up at around SEK 4.000 kr/person (which includes travel, accommodation and SkiPass for 5 days).

In order for this to be possible, a committee also needs to be put together that takes on most of the responsibility for the trip (as the current event managers are going on exchange + a new board has just taken office). Everyone who registers for the trip is welcome to get involved and more information about this will be announced during an upcoming committee meeting.
